CAFOD LiveSimply

We are delighted to announce that St. Filumena's have been awarded CAFOD’s LiveSimply Award. This means we are the first school from our MAC and also from Staffordshire to receive this award - and the fifth across the whole diocese! 

The assessors commented that the children were 'making their cry heard' with regards to Catholic Social Teaching and that the children have a deep appreciation for the call to care for God’s Creation and remember that we are all brothers and sisters to one another in God’s family. As such we have a duty to care for the most vulnerable both locally and across the world.

Obviously we are delighted with the outcome and look forward to continuing to support the children to develop their 'faith in action' journey.
