Mental Health & Wellbeing
On this page you will find a variety of services that offer support locally, nationally and online that support mental health and wellbeing.
As a school we take mental health and wellbeing very seriously and we are leading the way in highlighting this area. Our leader for Mental Health is Mr Howard and our lay chaplain is trained in supporting the first signs of mental health difficulties. After consultation with parents, external agencies may be referred to such as the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Wellbeing Service.

Our dedication to Health and Wellbeing
At St Filumena’s Primary School, we understand that mental health and wellbeing is linked to physical wellbeing and the need for everyone in our school to have a healthy lifestyle. This helps pupils and staff to do their best and build on their achievements. We actively promote physical and emotional health, and aim to equip pupils with the understanding and skills they need to make informed decisions about their health, both now and in the future. By championing healthy eating, healthy lifestyles and emotional health and well-being, we are aiming to continue to support pupils' personal development.
